Cookie policy
Last updated: draft, 10 October 2026
The short version. Analytics cookies only load if you click Accept. If you click Reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, they never load. You can change your mind at any time with the button below. Our own page counts, and Microsoft Clarity on our ad pages, use no cookies at all (see the end of section 3).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others tell us how people use the site. We also use your browser's storage to remember your cookie choice. This policy covers all of these.
2. Your choice
The first time you visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. Accept and Reject are the same size and you don't have to choose to use the site. We remember your choice for about six months, then ask again. Use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to change it.
3. Every cookie we use
Needed for the site to work (always on)
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
tl_consent | TradeLink | Remembers your cookie choice (saved in your browser's storage) | About 6 months |
tl_dq | TradeLink | Remembers that this browser didn't meet the booking criteria, so the booking form isn't offered again (saved in your browser's storage, no answers or contact details kept) | 30 days |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare, our website host | Tells real visitors apart from bots to keep the site secure | 30 minutes |
Analytics (only if you click Accept)
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor apart from another | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit | 2 years |
_clck | Microsoft Clarity | Recognises you across visits | 1 year |
_clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Joins page views into one visit recording | 1 day |
CLID, MUID | Microsoft | Recognise the same browser across Microsoft Clarity sites | 1 year |
ANONCHK, SM, MR | Microsoft | Support Clarity's other cookies | Up to 7 days |
On our ad pages
The pages our Facebook ads link to (for example tradelinkagency.co/landing-page-364020 and the pages that follow a booking) use the Meta pixel, our ROAS Form booking form and Vimeo videos. These can set the cookies below when those pages load.
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta (Facebook) | Links your visit to our Facebook ads so we can measure them | 90 days |
_fbc | Meta (Facebook) | Records that you arrived from a Facebook ad | 90 days |
fr | Meta (Facebook) | Ad delivery and measurement, if you're logged in to Facebook | 90 days |
vuid | Vimeo | Counts video plays, on pages where video tracking isn't switched off | Up to 2 years |
Counted without cookies
Every page also sends us a count of what happens on it (for example, how far it was scrolled and whether the form was started), and the pages our Facebook ads link to use Microsoft Clarity in a mode that sets no cookies. Neither saves anything in your browser. Each page view is counted or recorded on its own, so neither can recognise you on another page or visit. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, or you click Reject on the cookie banner, both are switched off. Our Privacy policy explains what is collected.
Booking page
Our booking calendar is provided by HighLevel. It may set cookies it needs to show available times and save your booking.
4. Your browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary ones may stop parts of the site working. Google offers an opt-out add-on for Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
